2026 Gold Winner
Arghaüs

The Challenge
Argos needed to shift consumer perception around its premium 'A-List' product range, breaking through standard retail advertising to engage audiences in a fresh, culturally relevant way.
The Strategy
Rather than producing traditional promotional ads, Billion Dollar Boy launched a social-first entertainment franchise across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. The strategy repositioned everyday household items as works of high art through an episodic mockumentary comedy series.
Execution and Innovation
Four prominent UK comedy creators co-authored recurring characters and storylines set within "Arghaüs", a fictional parody art gallery. In the series, creators treated everyday items like Dyson hairdryers as Renaissance masterpieces and air fryers as conceptual installations. Running over six months, the ongoing narrative functioned as genuine entertainment rather than standard retail marketing.
Results
The campaign delivered significant cultural impact and commercial engagement, generating 38 million total views and earning praise from notable figures such as Richard E. Grant. Crucially, the franchise successfully lifted brand recall, perception, and overall purchase consideration.
Judges' Verdict
"This is a fantastic example of influencer-led content being developed as a genuine entertainment property rather than a traditional campaign."
