30 under 30: Young blood into parliament!
The Challenge
Ahead of the Czech parliamentary elections, young voters faced low political literacy and systemic disengagement, resulting in a parliament completely devoid of representatives under the age of 30 in the previous term.
The Strategy
Grounded in audience research from Ipsos and political literacy insights, the campaign adopted a data-driven approach to activate Gen Z civic participation. The strategy focused on using creator-led storytelling and platform-native content to elevate young candidates and make political processes accessible.
Execution and Innovation
BoldNews deployed "30pod30" using a phased behavioural model and creator collaborations across digital platforms and traditional media. Creators engaged youth directly in their feeds, turning complex democratic topics into relatable conversations that motivated civic action.
Results
The campaign generated over 30 million organic impressions and nearly 790,000 interactions across channels, ultimately helping drive the election of 12 MPs under 30 to parliament — up from zero in the prior term.
Judges' Verdict
"What separates 30pod30 is the rare combination of upfront research, a phased behavioural model, genuine product innovation and independently verified real-world democratic impact."
